A large scale, wholly temporary CCTV solution, developed by Quadrant Security Group (QSG) for Dorset Police, has been named ‘Security Project of the Year’ at this year’s IFSEC Awards.
The unusual project saw the independent integrator design, install, maintain and decommission an entire networked surveillance solution, to help Dorset Police achieve maximum coverage and control of CCTV for 2012 Olympic sailing events at Portland and Weymouth.
QSG, shortlisted for two projects in the category, beat off stiff competition to win the title. Having also recently secured several high profile contracts, including work for Luton Borough Council and Magnox, the award tops off an impressive start to the year for the security integration specialist.
